By the time the evaluation gets to my hands, it is exactly one year from the last time I taught the unit (most of the time) and those sticky notes become and integral part of the success of my summative evaluations. Looking at my instruction from last year, and all of the artifacts for each unit, it is clear that I am doing a lot of things right for our students, but there are a lot more things that I can be doing for them. It is finding ways to integrate all of my new strategies and techniques into my collaborative meetings and into personal lesson planning that will make my students most successful.
