Padlet
Padlet is great for use in the classroom. Students can answer questions, post questions, and answer each other's questions, all on one page. I like to use Padlet for questions like, "How do you solve this problem?" Or, "Find the error in this problem, explain what should have been done." Other times, I ask students to post the questions they found hardest in the unit. One of the key features is the export feature. After students have posted their problems, I can export the Padlet as a PDF and print it. Then, I use this as the study guide for the unit. It is best if you arrange the Padlet so students don't post over each others' posts. It solves a lot of teenage drama problems! This tool is great for engaging students in a classroom discussion. If I want to know who posted, I ask them to add their names. When I don't care who posts - such as in the study guide, I let them post anonymously. Students like posting and like to see what others have posted. Recently, my Social Studies teacher and I did a cross curriculum lesson and we used Padlet to check in on the students progress. The tool is great for single classroom or collaborative use!
